Quality Control

We provide quality testing of all primary packaging such as ampoules, cartridges, bottles, deep drawing films and dosing devices. Secondary packaging such as folding boxes, package inserts and labels are also subjected to quality testing before use.  The proof-reading of printed packaging material is fully automated, with errors being reliably detected.

We support you in developing packaging which is optimally adapted to your product, for example, a combination of a bottle and dropper that enables precise and therapeutically appropriate dosing of liquids. Our DTP department supports you in setting text on printed packaging.

Weimer Pharma identifies active substances and excipients using modern NIR technology.
We analyse raw materials in accordance with current pharmacopoeia monographs such as Ph.Eur., USP and others.

On request, we will also conduct full analyses according to your own specifications.

Testing of bulk and finished goods
Our modern laboratories, equipped with UV spectrophotometers and numerous GC and HPLC systems, ensure high flexibility and reliability.
We can conduct physical and physicochemical tests specific to the dosage form in-house.
In addition we conduct microbiological investigations such as tests for sterility, bacterial endotoxins, pyrogens and valuations in a long-term collaboration with contract partner laboratories, which we audit on a regular basis. 

Approval for worldwide dispatch or for market release

The planning of our operations over the entire production chain up to approval ensures a delivery in-time. We approve the product for dispatch and, if you wish, a certificate of analysis/declaration of conformity.

To accelerate delivery to the market, our qualified person will also perform market release at your request.
