Chemical Laboratory Assistent

Chemical laboratories independently conduct analyses or physico-chemical inspections. They use scales with different sensitivities and have to deal with simple mechanical devices as well as with complicated equipment. They are intimately acquainted with the many different chemicals involved. They also evaluate the results. Chemical laboratory assistants work in research and development laboratories as well as in the operations or control laboratory (this is whre samples of products are reviewed and raw materials and additives analysed) and in applications technology departments, where new applications are developed for products.
